SESAM （Super Element Structure Analysis Module）是由挪威船级社（DNV-GL）开发的一款有限元分析（FEA）系统，它以 GeniE、HydroD 和 DeepC 等模块为核心，主要用于海工结构的强度评估、波浪荷载计算和系泊系统分析等。GeniE、HydroD 和 DeepC 分别是 Sesam 系统的固定式结构分析模块、漂浮式结构分析模块和系泊系统分析模块。

GeniE is a tool for concept (high level geometry) modelling of beams, flat plates and stiffened shells. Load modelling includes equipment (with automatic load transfer), explicit loads, wind loads and generation of compartments in floating structures. HydroD is the world’s leading software package for robust hydrodynamic analysis and stability analysis including fully automated load transfer to finite element analysis. DeepC is an interactive program used to model floating single- or multi-body configurations attached to the seabed with mooring lines, tension legs, risers etc. It uses the module Simo and Riflex to perform the non-linear time domain finite element simulations. The results of the analysis can be viewed within the DeepC environment.
除了上述设置外，其余均可保持默认。在 SESAM 软件安装完后，需在电脑 C 盘创建 Flexlm 文件夹，用于存放许可文件（.lic文件）。许可文件（.lic文件）的获取请联系 DNV 有关部门，了解更多可访问 DNV 官网。随后，打开许可管理器即 FLEXlm Licence Manager configuration tool，点击 Start Serve。
